  • Overview


    Reporting to the WCB Director, the Seasonal Brand & Communications Manager is responsible for leading the implementation of Domaine Chandon winery Content Marketing, including social media influencers, brand ambassador programs, and other customer advocacy efforts. 


     Winery Brand & Digital Communications

    • Daily liaison with Brand Management team on social media, search and online display campaigns driving to DTC
    • Responsible for managing the development of communication tools on food & wine related information: Newsletter, tasting notes, leaflets, brochures, videos, images, etc.
    • Responsible for collaborating with Winemaking & Vineyard teams to produce regular information on wine & winemaking such as winemaking philosophy, terroirs, wine style, new vintages, ratings, awards, et


     Winery Content Marketing & KOL Plans

    • Develop new approach to Content Marketing and advocacy for the winery, inclusive of influencer and customer ambassador (ChandonSquad) marketing
    • Develop plan and relationships to drive local awareness with key trendsetters, food and lifestyle bloggers, vloggers and Instagrammers
    • Develop and maintain networks and relationships with wine, food, travel, lifestyle, and business press for trade and consumer publications, radio, TV
    • Responsible for constantly liaising with local organizations & key wine industry associations such as Napa Valley Vintners in order to promote the winery & brand image
    • When required, responsible for acting as Brand Ambassador in front of key audience, having a good knowledge about the Market, wine trends, brands performance:
      • Host for wine events & special tours on-site including with media engagements when necessary
      • Host for national and local press visits to the winery in order to drive quality brand media exposure.
      • Host visits from overseas markets on demand
    • Responsible for providing support to the Winery Consumer Business Director to define plans and manage trade and VIPs relationships
    • Responsible for the database administration of Key Opinion Leaders plan, as well as wine press, VIP, medias, etc
    • In close collaboration with the WCB Director, Estate Director & the Brand Marketing team, responsible for the organization of winemakers travels programs


    Winery Experiential Marketing & Events

    • Work with the WCB Director and the Brand team to develop the concept and project plan, managing consumer winery and offsite local experiential marketing and events & highlighting key messages & brand image.
    • Responsible for managing the budgets for each event and experience, as well as the logistics:
      • Development & production of related materials
      • Decoration as per theme events
      • Catering, equipment hire, transport, booking of activities
      • Communication of itinerary & agreed participants with winemakers & other staffs



    BA/BS required, MA/MBA preferred: Marketing and /or Communication discipline preferred.



    English mandatory, a second language is a plus.


    Professional experience & know how:

    Proven experience (3-5y) in digital, social, influencer/advocacy marketing

    Expertise in brand development and experiential marketing

    Marketing copywriting expertise

    Experience with event management

    Understanding of the wine industry and winemaking/viticulture

    Understanding of consumer trends and behaviors is required, communications & PR trends/tools

    Experience with KOL, wine specialists, press, trade

    Influential relationships with food, wine and lifestyle press


    Technical & management skills:

    Extensive non-traditional media management skills, including content development of social media campaigns, and influencer marketing

    Strong copywriting skills and excellent grammar

    Organization & Time Management skills
