    The CRM Marketing & Sales Manager  is responsible for the Omni-Channel CRM marketing and sales of Napa Valley’s most significant Direct to Consumer Business. The mission for this CRM and website marketing professional is to build and deepen relationships with our customers across all direct customer touchpoints, seamlessly and consistently integrating the brand with relevant, personalized content. Deliver significant improvements in usage, engagement and conversion on chandon.com. Partner with the team to digitally transform Chandon using best-in class new tools and practices in CRM, content marketing and website marketing.

     

    Responsibilities

    Sales Development and Analysis: 15%

    • Forecast Club, website, telesales and customer service sales according to Direct-To-Consumer strategy, marketing plan, product strategy and release schedule
    • Partner on regular marketing and promotion effectiveness analyses to inform budget updates and report performance to leadership; develop detailed promo and product sales plans
    • Spearhead development of email and website engagement dashboard; present insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
    • Establish data culture within team, identifying new ways to track performance, productivity, customer experience, and ROI

    Marketing Planning: 30%

    • Plan and brief experiences that integrate brand interactions across physical, digital and phone touchpoints to bolster Chandon Club membership, and deepen connections and advocacy of the brand
    • Keep a pulse on Club member interests, best practices in subscription and Club management and website marketing; recommend and plan marketable new Club types, benefits and features
    • Manage Club program analytics, such as acquisition, retention, LTV by Club type and customer segment; recommend continuous improvements to all program touchpoints

    Website and Email Marketing Planning & Management: 30%

     

    • Drive website engagement and sales performance through deep understanding of online user and development of site marketing to support ongoing product sales, education, events, ongoing experiences, marketing campaigns and promotions
    • Partner with Brand Manager, agencies and digital experts to continuously optimize content and drive SEO rankings
    • Brief email and web page creative development and manage creative execution to support all direct customer facing initiative across winery and national marketing activations
    • Set up and deploy weekly commerce driving, Club engagement and community building emails; partner with Brand Manager to plan and execute journeys supporting offsite events, experiences and partnerships
    • Spearhead personalization functionality, with consideration to best practices in CRM and an understanding of customer needs across micro-targets, modes, devices etc; partner with DTC Digital Experience Manager to guide development of new functionality

    Qualifications

    Education: BA/BS required, MA/MBA preferred; Marketing discipline preferred.

     

    Languages: English required

     

    Professional experience & know-how :

    • Some knowledge of wine and luxury goods is required
    • CRM experience is required
    • eCommerce experience is

    Technical & management skills:

    • Data analysis experience is required
    • Strong budget management skills
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple vendors/agencies to consistently meet deadlines

    • Strong analytical skills
    • Deep knowledge of ESP, eCommerce & Clubs tools.
