We are currently seeking outgoing individuals with a positive and professional attitude, experience in high volume hospitality staff, and impressive wine service and serving skills who are genuinely passionate about wine, to join our team.
The mission for this individual is to create a world-class visitor experience at Domaine Chandon in order to drive the messaging and innovation of the Domaine Chandon Brand. -Represent and sell Domaine Chandon’s wines in a friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner
-Safely escorting tours through the winery, adjusting to the needs of the winery
-Performing Chandon’s scripted tour, ensuring consistent quality of delivery and accuracy of message
-Consistently discussing sparkling and still wine pairings
-Performing wine tastings, bottle and/or glass service, and wine education in a brand consistent and courteous manner
-Creating Chandon’s sparkling cocktails efficiently, having all ingredients and recipes committed to memory
-Performing food service: running food, explaining dishes on Salon food menu, bussing tables
-Conveying all Prestige Club benefits in a clear, concise and sincere way
-Achieving and exceeding Prestige Club goals set for the Tasting Lounge team
-Attending all VC bi-monthly meetings in order to stay updated with goals, new releases, new programs, and all other educational materials
-Developing ongoing relationships with guests to stimulate repeat visits and future sales
-Practicing at all times responsible hospitality
-Maintaining a clean and well-stocked Tasting Bar, during set-up, throughout service and close-down
-Keeping all tables indoors and outside free of dirty plates, silverware and glassware. Wiping clean all dirty tables for guests.
-Maintaining a safe tasting room and terrace, free of broken glass, water and other safety hazards
-Stocking wine behind bar and in still wine fridge in the Tasting Lounge. Helping Chandon Associates keep accurate daily inventories
Education: High School diploma
Languages: English required, second language helpful in communication with visiting public, but not required.
Professional experience & know-how:
Some knowledge of wine and luxury goods is helpful but not required
Technical & management skills:
-Complete multiple tasks with accuracy and urgency.
-Ability to react quickly in a high intensity environment, maintaining a calm professional demeanor at all times.
-Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs or one case of wine.
Personal & interpersonal skills:
-Strong team player, excellent communication skills, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
