    The Winery Operations Intern is responsible for:

    • Creating standard work instruction and assessing standard work practices in the winery production operations
    • Investigate equipment and process failures and make recommendations to maintenance and production staff in creating “Standard Work”
    • Drive innovative, simple to follow and understand process documentation solutions (may include process studies, risk assessments, batch records management, etc.)
    • Create the foundation for developing training procedures and materials
    • Support the development and use of Facility standards



    • Enrolled in a college or university towards BS in Engineering in engineering (or) Technical program (3+ years) with experience in industrial processing environment through internships in wineries or similar industries
    • Proficient in process engineering documentation and ability to write training programs
    • Experience in production line training and work instruction documentation
    • Provide good verbal and written communications to all levels of management
    • Knowledge of ISO, Lean manufacturing, Kaizen and Six Sigma
    • Experience with winery processes or similar industrial processes preferable, but not necessary
    • Experience in mechanical, industrial, electrical systems. Bottling operations and other applicable winery processes experience preferable, but not necessary
    • Excellent analytical, organizational & interpersonal skills with attention to detail
