    The Operations Winemaker is responsible for delivering the highest quality wines while ensuring the operations of the cellar & the liaison with production are handled efficiently, professionally and cost effectively. Ensure the quality aspirations of Chandon style winemakers are achieved. This will involve review of all winemaking related activities of CAPEX, work orders, trials, laboratory activities as well as managing the Cellar.

    • Mentor teams, support initiatives and maintain constant vigilance of critical Lean projects
    • Work with consultants to identify and deliver the right support to teams
    • Develop and revise annually the 10-year winemaking operations masterplan – including operational and expenditure plans which support the business goals.
    • Responsible for developing and assigning work schedule and tasks to the Lab, cellar teams ensuring timely and accurate completion of all functional tasks and responsibilities of each departments
    • Participate in blending, tasting, and decisions and required changes to achieve the final profile for each of the wines.
    • Work closely with the cellar team, winemakers and purchasing team to identify cost efficiencies and waste reduction.



    Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and/or Enology    

    Master’s Degree in Winemaking, Enology or related field is a plus


    • English mandatory, second language is a plus

    Professional experience & know how:

    • 10 years’ experience in winemaking industry with hands on experience with Cellar Operations and Winemaking.
    • Capable of providing a CAPEX budget and recommendations to upgrading the performance of cellar and harvest equipment.
    • Ability to have led a team.

    Technical & management skills:

    • Ability to create spreadsheet that allows for the monitoring of department budget.
    • Ability to give assistance and feedback to winemakers in the blending process.
