    Reporting to the Senior Manager of Club & CRM, the Lead Sales Specialist is responsible for elevating the customer insights and support the experience of Napa Valley’s most significant Direct to Consumer Business. The charge for this customer-centered, DTC operations professional is to deliver excellence in one on one communication, customer service and insights that cultivate membership retention, protect sales and increase profitability.



    • Actively provide Customer Support via email and phones as a key member of the Wine Club Team
    • Respond to customer inquiries, special requests, orders, and cancellations via email or telephone promptly and professionally with strong follow-up and customer service
    • Proactively and diligently handle the Returns Process for all Wine Club & eCommerce Shipments including resolving issues with returned or damaged shipments, including follow-up with customers and Fulfilment Center
    • Provide reporting metrics for our visitor center, e-comm, and Club teams including tracking reviews, new items and consumption while helping to build and analyze databases to track shipments, profitability results and product mix
    • Analyze information to ensure clear team understanding of opportunities and overall health of the business
    • Collaborate with replenishment teams to ensure healthy inventory levels at all times
    • Contribute to and foster a culture which embraces customer-centricity, quality and alignment to company goals as key values




    • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or applicable experience


    • English required

    Professional Experience & Know-How: 

    • 2-4 years relevant experience

    • Some knowledge of wine and luxury goods is preferred

    • Any kind of membership or loyalty program experience is a plus

    • Sales experience is preferred

    • DTC experience is preferred

    Technical & management skills:

    • Outstanding customer service skills, including impeccable communication skills and solution-based approach
    • Excellent outbound phone sales experience
    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of eCommerce & Clubs tools
    • Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as willingness to learn and adapt to other internal systems
    • Data entry and ability to create professional PowerPoint presentations, incorporating graphs, data points and other relevant insights as appropriate
